They've been quite a bitch with me. Mine about 500 - 600.

i have experienced this in the past too. uob has been inflexible when it came to fee waiver, while other local banks waive off easily. some like maybank, has never even charged me the annual fee for years even if i spend nothing.

did u eventually get it waived after calling in?

Uob credit card or other bank card? For Uob credit card can set giro via uob ibanking. For other bank cards need to use physical giro form.

No min so long giro triggered, but uob cards need $10 to trigger giro

Btw you can only set to pay full bill or min sum, cannot specify how much to giro.

Mine were between $500-$600.

I called in through the automated process and was waived on the spot.

2 GIRO payments?

Does GIRO to 2 different DBS credit cards count as 2 GIRO payments or just 1 (being only one billing organization - DBS)?

I am new to this arena.

For card rebate, assuming I am able to fulfill 2k spending with 5 transactions, it also counts towards the one account criteria isn't it (tiers of min 500, 1k and 2k spending)

So In order to hit the annual max interest using one acc and one card, I should fulfill the conditions?
- min 3 giro every month to one account
- spent 2k every month with spending on grab and SP bill etc
- min 5 transactions using one card every month

All you need to do to hit the 2.4+% interest for your One Account is:
(1) 3 giro payments to be debited from your One Account;
(2) min spend of $500 on your One Credit card.

The 5 credit card transactions plus $1k or $2k spend is to hit the One credit card rebate, which I don’t really prioritise.

Even if you don’t chalk up 5 credit card transactions or min spend of $1k, you will still receive your 2.4+% interest on your One Account as long as you fulfill the 3 giros and min $500 credit card spend.

That’s what I have been prioritising every month to get the 2.4+% interest because I also need to spread my credit card spend to my DBS and HSBC cards for their respective promos.

Tks for your input. For this quarter (1,2,3), I will be able to hit 2k per month, thus asking whether this (rebate) will count towards the one account (interest) where the highest tier is 2k

can i use the UOB one card in Samsung pay for my ezlink trips and it adds up to the $500 credit card spend?
