hi , do anyone know what is the minimum yearly spent required for UOB One card so that can ask for annual fee waiver? Thanks .
always manage to spend min $500 per month to meet the bonus interest criteria, so far never fail to get waiver...at least it is not like OCBC 365 which I heard need to spend 10K per annum in order to get waiver...

Wah... 10k per annum then get waiver. OCBC is complacent.

My experience is UOB won't waive if you have 2 cards. They are only willing to waive if you agree to terminate one of the cards.
Thanks for sharing. I know I will terminate my UOB One card when that time come. It has been years I have this and no AF. But last year I just got UOB Absolute so think they will later force me choose one card to terminate.

I was charged for UOB One card and would rather keep UOB Absolute card.

Problem is UOB One card is a quarterly rebate card. Appeal also fail so wasted my spending for 2 out of 3 mths. Best part is after I miss spending in 3rd mth and called to terminate, 2 weeks later retention unit called to say they waive it. Got blasting from me.

Would paying for another bank’s credit card via AXS app using UOB One debit card qualify as spending for the bonus interest?

Just realised that a $500+ spend won’t be acknowledged as it’s not PayNow via the card but via a QR code. Could have used that amount to chalk up another credit card’s points.

For UOB ONE $500 CC spend, do the following counted:

- Prudential monthly premium paid via iPay
- Starhub phone bills via Starhub app
- Sembcorp electricity bill via monthly recurring
- Singapore power utilities bill

Thanks

UOB staff actually told me essential bills like utility and phone bills do not count. But a user here said utility bills count.
UOB CSO staff are mostly incompetent. their words must take with a pinch of salt and pepper.

I've been paying my Singtel bills all these years using UOB card - no issue with eligibility. and UOB even offer extra 1% rebate for SP utility bills. published openly in their website.

Are you saying I can pay my StarHub hp bill using my UOB One card? How do you pay it so that it counts? Is it via AXS app?

I use GIRO.

I avoid all kinds of payment using AXS because it's stated as one of the exclusions in their terms and conditions. did you read the document?

Yes I did. It also excluded many things. That’s why I went to ask the bank staff exactly what’s included. He went into the room behind his counter to ask his colleague before coming out to tell me “only entertainment stuff, like food and clothes”.

I just paid my starhub bill and confirmed its counted in that $500 based on the app activity tracker.

Don't use AXS to pay. Use Singtel/Starhub/M1 app to pay
Thanks! I just paid via StarHub app. I remember trying to pay via StarHub app a few times but they didn’t go through. I gave up using UOB One debit card to pay. Now it works.
