Sorry gurus, need some help as I haven’t been using my UOB cc much this month.

can I know what is the quickest way to spend $400 to eligible for the $500 cc spend?
Would Shopee pay topup, ntuc voucher or capital voucher works?

toilet paper from supermarket

for clocking the rewards :o
am going for the uob stash + transactional campaign + national saving promo instead

not worth going for stash as they only give out the additional interest if your current monthly average is higher than the previous one. Sorta lock-in. Is not bad if you want to have money you can reach out to in a jiffy.

Best for savings is still GxS for now, up to 75k

So assuming not getting the $100 new to uob and just park for 4mths,
100,000 EIR 3% = $1000 for 4m
+ $558 earmark 4m
= $1558
So effective interest of 4.674% over 4mths if im not wrong
treat as 4m FD @4.674%

Is UOB one account considered for this promotion?

Hi All. I have a query. I opened an UOB one account on 25th Jul 2023. Have started using the UOB one card and will hit $500 soon. Have transferred funds into One Account. But my salary will be credited only around 20th Aug 2023. Given this scenario, will be get any interest? Or should I withdraw my funds and deposit back only after salary crediting?

Anybody know what's the reason that UOB infinite is not included in the UOB one account credit card eligibility list?

I have this card in Malaysia and it seems useless if can't fulfill the 2 criteria in malaysia too.

Think u will only get base interest now and quarterly rebates pro-rated if u continue spend $500 for next 2 months, but that will also depend on your quarterly months...even if u manage to hit 3 giros within this month, bonus interest will be pro-rated I guess..

Without salary in July, you get 0.05% only. Move out the funds leaving $1000 behind to avoid fall below fee. But fall below fee is waived for first 6 months for accounts opened online. So no need to keep the $1000 if your account is opened online.

On 1 Aug, you can move the funds back. No need to wait till salary is credited if you are confident that the salary will come in and in the eligible format. Note that UOB One is based on av monthly bal. If you move funds back only on 20 Aug, the av monthly bal available for bonus interest will be pulled down and you get less interest compared to depositing on 1 Aug.

Since your account is new, in Aug you can join the national day promo for increase in bal compared to 30 Jun bal. Also can join the transaction campaign for salary.

Hi, for the UOB One account, there is this criteria to credit your salary via GIRO/PAYNOW (with the transaction reference “SALA” / “PAYNOW SALA”) in each calendar month.

For both GIRO and PAYNOW, how do you reference the transaction as “SALA” / “PAYNOW SALA”?

If i were you, I will send a salary transaction, test if it qualifies, keep the minimum so you are entitled to all the rewards for new account opening promos, including NDP. Check it out yourself, your days of the mth are running out! Dun waste your $500 cc spend. UOB tnc only requires salary in a particular format, no extra conditions, extra conditions only if you want extra rewards under special promotions.

How to qualify for 5% interest?

Is it only salary and $500 spending? No need to increment the monthly deposit?

Which credit card is best to clock for supermarket and dining?

anyone opened stash account recently?

weirdly inside the online ban portal, it states a
TOP UP AMOUNT
119,999.00 SGD
BALANCE TO MAINTAIN
119,999.00 SGD

instead, supposedly the balance for bonus interest eligibility
Mine was a fresh new account opened a week ago
