Read the tnc yourself to be sure for your own case: https://www.uob.com.sg/web-resource...ng/one-account/uob-one-account-card-spend.pdf

In short, recurring insurance payments not counted, adhoc payment included since insurance MCC is not excluded. Best to check your tracker in the app to confirm.

did I interpret wrongly?
but I think only prudential counted, not all insurance
via bill payment

Eligible Card spend transactions are based on the following

  • Eligible Visa/MasterCard local and foreign retail transactions subjected to the exclusions mentioned below;
  • Insurance payments made on a recurring basis on selected credit or debit cards;
  • Total posted retail transactions by the selected Credit Card(s) principal and supplementary holder plus any spending on the selected Debit card(s); and
  • Transactions posted within a CALENDAR month

Prudential is not mentioned, nor payment via the bill payment method supported.

I understand paying insurance premium via UOB credit card will count towards UOB One account spend criteria. But it will not earn any credit card rewards or cash rebate.
