Assume 1.5% opportunity cost for 50k, u earn $140.
Thats a 7% rebate card . little frill

Why need to retire? 5% rebate is good. Even 3.33% for the $500 monthly spend is good.

same, finding myself hard to hit e monthly 500 ever since they increased to min spending... coz i spread out my spending to other cards as well... 300 was perfect but...

The t&c says the exclusions do not qualify for the quarterly cash rebate.
So it seems like uob one acc not affected, correct?

Emailed them to ask if payments to prepaid cards will be included in the $500 spending for their One account and they gave me this template reply. Anybody can decode? Not included means no counted? Should I even bother to probe further?

top up prepaid is consider a retail transaction, which also will include visa retail.

they never exclude specifically to you nor answer, then they have to honor lor. simple.
its how their system capture, no one can answer u except uob or after u test.

i activated it online

do i have to activate it as an atm card?

they never exclude specifically to you nor answer, then they have to honor lor. simple.
its how their system capture, no one can answer u except uob or after u test.

so if its me, i will use cso version. too bad cso like to copy and paste, so bank have to accept the bank response to customer =)
also not for me to gauge.

if he got the budget, dont need risk individual nric at the expenses of his requirement.
perhaps its a good deal, but the risk involve is not worth the penny. unless its a real life person u know, that said, few month down the road, what if someone invite u to drink coffee for all u know.
