Hmmm...

I just applied the UOB ONE card.

But the CS duno it's black and white well..
Cos she kept putting me on hold while checking with her seniors.
Argh.

Im considered on the dates transactions to get the rebates smoothly.
She told me to hit the quarterly thing is based on the first transaction date.
means if my first transaction is on 01 Oct.
Within this one month (01-30 Oct), I have to hit $300 or $800 or $1,500 ANY purchases for continuous 3mths.

Or they based on posting date?
Like transaction on 30 Oct. Skali they post on 02 NOV.
Dat $ on 30 Oct is meant to hit Oct rebates tier.

Any advices?

You should read the previous pages for more details, should learn how to look for information yourself.

1st is pro-rated, doesn't matter how much you charge. 2nd and 3rd month then the tier come into picture. Your quarter is base on your assigned statement date. If you apply and get the card in Sep then Sep statement is first month, Oct and Nov statement is 2nd and 3rd thus forming your first quarter, your first transaction does not matter. And your statement is base on your posted date, if your statement doesn't post in time then you will miss the boat.

1. You can't pay SP bills at AXS using UOB cards.
2. It doesn't matter how you charge it, even $1, $1, $1 also can.

AXS only accepts DBS/POSB or CItibank or Diners credit cards.
You must know how to "use" the AXS to get the rebate (eg start by select "DBS" logo then select "pay by credit card" then...)

You can go to SP branches to pay using your UOB one.
You can try pay 3 times but you will look "weird"...

received a mailer from UOB today.

"Earn while you spend.
Enjoy S$1 off on every transaction."

summary of small prints: retail transactions, each transaction must be > S$20, capped at S$10, 15/9 -31/10, need SMS registration, capped at 3000 applicants.

i believe it applies to all UOB cards. i posted here cos i have only UOB One card.

If I am levied the annual fee this month but managed to get it waived off, CSO said the credit will appear in my next month's statement. Does that mean next month I have to spend $300+ the annual fee credit amount to qualify for the min $300 spend? Or can I just spend the $300 as per normal months to qualify?

Just spend as per nomal.
The CR will be cancelled by an earlier DR.

I got a question with the oversea transaction part. It says it's excluding "not card-present" transactions example online transactions, mail/phone order. If I book prepaid rate hotels on SPG.com, and then hotel deduct the amount few days before I arrive hotel, does this count for 2% rebate? I know this is not considered as online transactions cos I tried that for DBS woman master card and I didn't get 10X.

Immediately after. Therefore it will appear in your next statement becos they purposely post it after statement generation.
immediately after the quarter thus appear in next month statement, anything wrong?

Hi, wish to confirm again, is it rebate credited after the quarter in the beginning or at the end of the next month's billing cycle? Thanks.

This is definitely one of those card not present transaction, i know UOB say not counted for the 2% rebate but i did get the 2% rebate when i use it on taobao which is definitely card not present transaction so...no harm trying.
