The CSO got confused with my query.

I received the card on 23 Oct. My statement date was 22 Oct. I didn't spend for the Nov and Dec statements. Now that I have received the Dec statement (22 Dec), I asked her whether I am now in the "new" 3 month cycle (assuming cycle follows the calendar quarter of Jan, Feb, Mar) or whether I have to wait another month for the Jan statement before the "new" cycle starts (assuming cycle starts from Nov statement as I received the card after the Oct statement had been generated).

CSO unsure about this. Needs to check up and get back to me. :s22:

If u keep the statements, u can see the qualifying months there

I want a local bank credit card. But UOB card benefit are better than DBS?

yes UOB cards are the best. If u get like 4-5 UOB cards u can cover all grounds alr.

UOB one for cash rebates.
UOB preferred plat visa/amex/mastercard for 10x uni$ for certain kind of expenditures.
UOB prvi miles for all other spend.

1. Home Fibre Broadband under my name
2. M1 mobile line under my name (corporate plan)
3. M1 mobile line under my name (corporate plan, but different account as above)

may I know when the bonus 2% for overseas txn be credited to my card?

the T&C online says:
The Bonus Rebates (round off to the nearest 2 decimal places) earned will be credited to the relevant Eligible Card account on a monthly basis on the applicable statement date.
The applicable Cardmember(s) shall earn the Bonus Rebates notwithstanding that such Cardmember(s) may not have earned any Quarterly Cash Rebates

I checked my statement and made several overseas txns but did not receive the 2% additional cashback reflected in the same statement?

Thanks for sharing.

I am trying to minimize the number of credit cards for myself and only have the One card.

But your sharing has opened my mind to consideration of the other cards especially I travelled regularly for business trips (which I had been utilizing my corporate card and this One card).

it's called 3 min "transactions" so it has no bearing on the number of invoices.

even if u have one bill of $300 and u break it down in to 3 payment of $100 each. it's still 3 transactions to the bank.

If you travel regularly for business, you should use visa signature for the 5% rebate.

Just to check - for the month where the rebate of $30 gets credited, I just have to continue spending $300 as usual right? Don't have to spend $330 for that particular month? :s11:

If I pay all my telco and SP bills using this credit credit (via monthly auto deduct), will the transaction be take into consideration for the rebate or the transaction will only count when the physical card is present during transaction.
