The exclusions counted on February statement instead of transaction after 1 Feb.
If yr February statement (2 Jan 18- 1 Feb 18) and u have any transactions for government, LTA, HDB, town council during 2 Jan to 31 Jan, all these transactions will also be excluded and affects th cash rebate for the quarter.

That's way too much for UOB, first time see effective based on 'statement' instead of tran/posting date.

Any T&C we can refer to?:s12:

My Feb statement has 1 such transaction in Jan. Last time I called cso, he said based on transaction's posting date. I not yet check my rebate.

That means the payment for town council will not add to my minimum monthly uob one card spending of 500. I should use other credit cards to pay town council then

can confirm from Feb 2018 town council conservancy fees no longer included

SP utility bills still counted :s12:

With conflicting reports on SP bills, some say excluded, some say included. I'm not charging SP bills to this card until confirms, or at least, not including the transaction in my own calculation.

There has been some changes starting Feb 2018, with CSOs giving conflicting information regarding SP Services. Have you had a rebate since Feb 2018?

I also confirmed many times before Feb 2018, but not yet after Feb 2018. You just charged $700, doesn't mean anything if no rebate is given.

i am not worried, every conversation is logged and if there is any dispute i will just get them reference to my past log with CSO. I am not sure why you said there were conflicting information, i spoke to 2-3 CSO and all shared town council bills excluded, but SP services are in.

As long as there is written notice or call log, whatever they promised is valid.

I also wont charge so much to sp for ntg.

Good luck fighting, if it is not included by their system. Took me 2-3 weeks to get something they supposedly "promised" over the phone. And please report back if it is included or excluded in your next rebate.

If one is worried dont charge. I am happy to take the perceived risk, if any. hwz cc forum is a good platform to keep our ears on the ground, but end of day ultimate decision lies with us and no one should be held accountable for your own actions. As long as one has written proof or call log, there is really no need to worry.

Its advisable to exercise some caution even if the bank records your calls because such record is to their benefit not yours. They may decline to let you have access to their recordings after saying no such promises were made. I usually make my own recordings to protect myself.

UOB now coming up with smelly tactics. They will charge u annual fee $192+. Say waiver not successful, ask u to pay and will give u vouchers instead. If cancel card warn u that u have to pay $100+ for early settlement of your card.

Been receiving calls from 68547708 / 68547299. Guess these are from the sales side.

Better dont spend any big tickets items and cancel ur card before the annual fee. Cos u need to make many calls before u can even get the card cancelled.

why have to pay 100+?

think he refer to admin fee for early payment of installment payment plan. Not advisable to use the card for installment plan anyway as excluded from rebate.

i usually take down officer name, date and time spoken. So far when there are disputes none has rejected my reference to call logs made. So far so good. I am only wary when it comes to certain banks that are less customer centric, uob and hsbc definitely not my concern.

UOB is no longer sg customer oriented bro. Their customer service is in Malaysia now lor. They hire malaysians just to chit chat with u. Cos often they have no power to decide anything.

For this card/one ac they have been changing the terms very often. And they don't inform or compensate the customers at all. Eg they just exclude the IPP suddenly and those who spend more than 10k or 20k or more got nothing.

Now also heard they start to charge $192+ annual fees or ask u to buy vouchers so as to waive off ... lol

It makes sense to be based on tran/posting date, if they based on Feb statement which includes Jan spending, guess ppl will definitely make noise to them:s13:
