So is it confirm that we can pay SP bill via SP app with UOB one card to enjoy the rebate?

Yesterday I asked one of the UOB staff during roadshow, but that guy told me no rebate 🤨

Up to 5% rebate. There are no extra rebates, they are referring to the 3 tier rebate system of the One card. Basically they are telling you that what you charge via the app is included and will help you reach the spending criteria.

Now the SP app is no longer showing this notice...
I can’t find the tnc for this on website

Just saw in the SP app that it accepts payments via all major credit & debit cards and get to enjoy up to 5% rebate with UOB One and Delight cards. Anyone confirmed this with UOB? Thanks

Yup. There is no separate TnC and no need for one to say SP will get up to 5% rebate.

SP is a grey area. If you read the UOB ONE CC FAQ
1. Excluded Merchants - Ministries and Govt Agencies like MOM, MOE, NEA, AVA, HDB, ICA, IRA, ACRA, etc ..... the last mentioned is "etc". SP is owned by Temasek Holdings which is own by the government
2. The UOB ONE card web advertisements - under utilities, only private retailers are listed - Diamond Electric, Geneco, iSwitch, Keppel Electric, Pacific Light, Sembcorp, Senoko, Sunreap. SP was not listed.

Arh ... I see.
So before the cc payment option is added to the SP App, what is the reason SP payment at counter is eligible for rebate whereas SP services recurring charges to UOB ONE card does not qualify for rebates? MCC code for SP varies depending on payment mode?

The below screenshot was shown on SP Services app in Mid March 2019 when they open up to all credit cards.

Most of the time Recurring payments had been excluded from banks, even for Telco recurring payments. If you have recurring payment, you can call the bank to ask for the MCC Code and why it is excluded. I don't have any recurring payment, therefore unable to advise why it is excluded.
