Thanks Trazora.

Few queries though below so sorry for all these bombard question. Still new.

- If lets say i want to apply for the card, is it good to cancel my Live Fresh Card since i wont be needed it or keep it to my first year since annual fee waived then close? Will it affect the credit scores?
- Best to apply online or CSO as i also need to one shot apply for the giro as well.
- How does supplementary card works?
- 5 transaction meaning giro also included?

1) Can cancel if you really not going to use it. Not going to affect credit score much.

2) best apply via Singsaver, get extra $50 sign up cashback https://www.singsaver.com.sg/credit-card/best-deals?gclid=Cj0KCQjwgezoBRDNARIsAGzEfe7p0gSSrHM8QYq7L5ecFSM2hstJmc0zO16c1y0D4yUyB1N8ST32LFIaAgSgEALw_wcB
The CSO will not be able to help much with the GIRO (which I guess you referring to recurring payment of SP etc), you can easily set it up using this form https://www.uob.com.sg/personal/cards/payment-services/bill-payment-service-recurring.page

3) supplementary card spend will be accumulated to the card spend on the principal card and counted for the rebate.

4) 5 transactions include the recurring payment.

Deduct bill in the last statement (less any payment made between the last statement date till the giro deduction date)

Woke up in the morning and found out that they had only deducted the statement due amount instead of the full amount used. A bit worried that they will charge me interest since today is the payment due date...

When you say "full amount used" it include transaction that are in your current unbilled statement? These transactions only due on next month due date.

Yeah the same thing happen to me last time when i first use Giro for the UOB One card payment. Then found out its actually correct, deduct the full amount for the previous month already, even though the "full" amount is not the "full" amount shown as the latter includes unbilled transactions. :s13:

UOB has decided to reduce the attractiveness of its cards once again. :( Do take note of the upcoming changes for payment to educational institutions.

I have extracted the following info from my e-statement:

Wef 1 September 2019, please be informed that:
1) Applicable to all UOB Personal Credit Cards (except UOB Reserve, Visa Infinite Metal, Visa Infinite and Privilege Banking Cards) - payments to educational institutions will be excluded from rewards (base & accelerated UNI$ awarding) and cash rebate (min spend and awarding).
2) SMOOVPAY transactions will be excluded from rewards (accelerated UNI$ awarding) on UOB Preferred Platinum Visa Card.

If the merchants charged the full amount upfront, convert it into installment for you, it is not eligible too.
