I see. I was asking like if i spent 1500 eligible spending, $500 on insurance.
does it count as 2k spent? altho i know only 1500 will get rebate.
so my next 2 months i can spend 2k to etc.
the question is what do u want now? rebates or bonus interest or both?

Look, the problem is there’s no such thing as min spend. It has only eligible spend. $2000 eligible spend in each of 3 months get fixed rebate of $200 + some additional from some merchants. Ineligible spends won’t count towards $2000.

Does payment via OneNUHS App count towards eligible spend? someone mentioned it isn't under the MCC 8062 code but 8099.

hi guys just wanted to check if anyone knows about this.

i have been spending above $500 per month for the quarterly cashback, however upon checking my app today, i saw that i have spent above $500 for yhe month of April 2023. however, due to some cashbacks, my bill dropped to $400+ only. is the minimum spend only applicable to pure spending for the month and excludes the rebates? or does it mean i wont be eligible for the cashback for April?

Based on pure spending. You have met the minimum so no worry, it's bank's practise (not only uob) to auto offset the rebate on your cc bill when rebate comes in.

Seems like no one discussing this. Maybe no one track their rebates like me.. haha

My last quarter statement, the additional cash rebate was significantly reduced. Did a trace and realised it is due to Shopee - specifically Shopee supermarket transactions not being given the additional cash rebate of 5% (on top of the 3.33% for $1000 monthly spend).

I dug further and also found that the MCC for normal Shopee tx and Shopee Supermarket tx are different as compared to the MCC in previous quarter. Previous quarter ALL Shopee tx are under Marketplaces. Now, Shopee supermarket is under Grocery Stores.

Contacted UOB and the credit card specialist was also stunned why the rebate it was missing. Since 1 Apr until now no follow up from them even after calling a few times, damn fed up.

I got a feeling soon they will exclude Shopee Supermarket from the additional rebate - similiar with Shopee Pay top ups.

I am considering signing up for UOB card and HSBC card.

Can anyone share which UOB card is the best for cashback and at the same time qualifies for the $500 spend for the UOB One account?

Thanks for the heads up.. I ever reconciled and caught them underpaying me shopee rebate before and they said is system glitch.. doubt they would pay others who didn't realize. Now it happened again.. guys please check your shopee rebate.

Anyone knows how to use UOB$ (not UNI$)? It says it is automatically used at the next merchant but I found that it has just been accumulating up (eg from my Chicha purchases and not really offset against the next purchase)
