I just tried at Giant, the lady told me can use 1 time per day and they need to submit a copy of the receipt because they need to claim back from bank. I presume they need to get money back from Visa as promo is by visa. So you can imagine when all the receipts go to visa and you violate their terms and conditions, maybe they just charge you back for those extras you claim lor.

At the end of the day, are you so gain peng and want to try your luck?

The terms & conditions serve to protect Giant's staff shld customers become unreasonable in demanding for more than $1. Because it is a manual system, there are ways customers can claim more than once. We can keng keng keng.

It is a joint promo between Visa and Giant, cost likely be borne by them. I think Giant bears most of costs as it will be more beneficial to their staff and business (less work, speed of processing maybe, more business haha customers like me spending to get more $1s off, etc). Giant needs to submit the visa receipts to Banks for processing, then bank charge us, etc, visa receipts only show amt charged, does not reflect the $1 deducted. So no need worry they will come back later to claim from customers. Twice the cashiers did not deduct $1 before they charge the amts to visa, they gave me $1 cash as refund. So where are the records? Would they bother?

Wrong, they keep a copy of the Giant receipt with a note of the Visa receipt number written on it, not just the visa records that they submit for processing but a hard copy of the giant receipt that show $1 promotional coupon. Up to you to believe or try to rationalize. Maybe the cashier that attend to you is blur but not everybody is blur. I just share my experience only cause i happen to past by Giant and wanted to get some milk.

Cheers.

Just hooted another $5.24.
Saw the cashier wrote down the "TR" no. of Giant receipt onto the visa receipt.
iirc- the cashier did not copy down anything on my 2nd same day buy on 8th June (should be initial stage where they overlook this point)

One redemption per customer!

Giant means business! Today's advert stated "one redemption per customer". So Giant is telling us, "Please come back"!, haha!

Most likely is this period. I got mine in dec:D but you have to wait for the statement or or call cso to confirm.

You can pay online for starhub. Not sure about pub and power supply bill.
