Hey guys,

I just signed up the UOB one card as my first credit card, a few questions for those who are familiar with credit card

Anyone knows when the annual fees are being charged? (start or end of the period?)

& if there are cancellation fees if I were to want to cancel it?

Hi guys,

I just saw under my ONE credit card that there are the Cash Rebate Balance and Expiry. Any idea how I can claim this? Or is it automatically credited into my ONE account or used in any way?

Also, what is this SMART$ balance? How do I use it?

Annual fee (if not auto-waived) should be charged in first month in the next year. No cancel fee.

Cash rebate will be used to offset your next bill.

Can use SMART$ can some merchants. http://uobsmartdollar.yc.sg

Is the offset using cash rebate an automatic process? or must I do it manually?

To use the SMART$, I just need to tell the merchant I want to use it? What does the website mean by "don't use paywave"?

Rebate auto-credited

Yes tell merchant you want to use points. They will use chip

Actually how would we know if we are one of the first 900? Is there some notification sent to us?

the return of one card per annum is up to $1.4k.

But this is subjected to $2k per month correct? So the usage is based by per month $2k or is it annual of $24k?

Max rebate in a year is $300×4quarters = $1200. For $300 rebate per quarter, need min $2000 qualified spending in each and every of the 3 statement months in the quarter, and at least 5 transactions each month

Is the card spend for supplementary card aggregated with the principal card for the quarterly rebate?

E.g if main card spend $1000 and sup card also spend $1000 for the 3 months of the quarter, is the rebate $300 (5%*$2000*3mths)? or $200 (2cards*3.33%*$1000*3mths)?

Also, does the sup card's spending quarters always follow the main card?

Thanks in advance!

Aggregated. In UOB, bill is generated only for main applicant and supplementary card transactions are transferred to main card on the day of billing. So $300 per quarter

Does anyone know that starhub bill consider as eligible spending?

I have been spending $500 ++ for each month, end of the quarter, i still don't get any $50 rebate.

They also never indicate which spending is not consider as eligible...

It should be eligible.
$50 will be credited to your next month Billing, not the end of your quarterly Month billing cycle.

Check other condition which you may not fulfill.
1. $500 spent for the month is Card statement Month cycle, not Calendar Month.
2. Need to have at least 5 transactions for every Month.

The rebate is paid the month after the end of the quarter.

I heard from the UOB CSO that told me is u have to spend a minimum of $500 consistently per months for every quaterly to enjoy the 3.33%. Yes according to what the CSO told me telco bill is inclusive.

I got another question, if i already own 1 CC and went on to apply for another one under the same bank will i still be subject to the same screening for approval?

Either ah, so to be sure I jus start to spend on the 13th?

Yes. Or if you know the merchant usually takes min how long to post the transaction you can time it for the transactions to be posted on 13th or later.

Try avoid having to spend close to 12th to meet min spending
