Hi, not sure anyone ask before - can SP utility pyament be counted for rebate or $500 for bonus interest?
If yes, how do you all use the uob one card to make payment?
Anyone try with SP utilities Apps to pay with cc? I tried installing but kept failing to generate password.

0. Yes, asked until stale already. Try using the search function of this forum software.
1. Yes, it counts.
2. Must go down to SP counters at Toa Payoh, Woodlands etc.
3. SP App only takes DBS/POSB cards. Likewise the web portal.

The GIRO application for Property tax is pretty fast (approved within a week). HDB season parking and insurance monthly GIRO takes donkey years to approve. Submit forms last week of July. Up till now, no news from HDB and NTUC INCOME.

Beware of property tax GIRO. My experience is there were 2 mths without GIRO. Lucky I set up 4 GIRO just in case.

If you qualify for rebate, usually in the 4th month's statement (next statement after your quarter), there is reward summary between "end of transaction details" and "general information". Your previous quarterly reward will be printed here. If your have spending amount more than the reward amount in the 4th month statement, the reward will also be printed in this statement under list of transaction to offset the total balance you need to pay for this statement.
If not qualify for reward, there is no reward summary in the 4th month's statement. Then you need to call to find out the reason.

I paid my starhub bill on 10 Aug using starhub mobile app and paid ntuc online on 13 Aug using their mobile app. Both are not posted as at today which is unusual as it usually will take 2 to 3 days at most.

Anyone encountered this ? Coz if it is still not posted by mthend, I will lose my credit card rebate and UOB One bank interest as without these 2 sums, expenditure will go under $500.

Update. Now when I check again, ntuc online posted. Starhub still not posted. CSO said if merchant don't settle in 5 working days, the transaction will be cancelled. Confirmed my starhub transaction has been cancelled. This is first time this has happened even though I pay starhub mthly.

So now I have to charge another $52. Sharing this as it is important to check online maybe 1 week before mthend in case such incidents happen. If I had not checked, I would have lost my credit card rebate plus bonus interest as I did not hit $500.

when you paid, u didn't get a success/failure msg after you pay? or can you check ur StarHub to see if u have pending bills?

it is very strange and rare that a regular, well-established company like starhub would fail to process your payment... yes I also suggest you call starhub to find out more.

or maybe it's just you are a bit too impatient. note that companies may not process over non-working days (weekends, public holidays, etc.). today is holiday... so for the past 5 days, 3 days are considered weekends/public holidays (Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday).

It shows successful. And outstanding amount changed to from $52 to 0. CSO confirmed transaction approved and auto cancelled by system after 5 working days due to non settlement by merchant.

First time encountered.

I can still use singtel dash to charge? Whats the limit? Or is there one? Also town council is still considered a charge?

For the 5% rebate quarterly, town council charge is not considered?

Yes... You can use UOB One with CardUp. I'm using CardUp to top up to 2k monthly spend if I don't have enough spending for the month.

Got sabo by UOB CSO. The starhub transaction got posted. Transaction date 10 Aug. Posting date shows 23 Aug which is the next day after I called and reassured that definitely cancelled and advised to pay again.

you should have checked with starhub, as previously advised. not the bank. now u kena trolled by the bank. did u submit another payment again? I supposed u did. just take it as advanced payment to starhub for the next billing cycle...
