Mine has yet to be reflected to date though I have completed the quarter and the statement is already generated for the third quarter. I hope they are not telling me I have further disqualifying spends.

Grab Rebate

Did anyone receive the rebate for Grab transactions? I hit the UOB One quarterly rebate this month but didn't receive the 5% for my Grab rides.

hi all! apologies for the confusion regarding telco bill payment. i have received a callback from uob to clarify that it is some other transaction that was disqualified, not my starhub bill payment. so telco bill payments are still considered qualifying spend

it was two obvious transactions which i wasnt careful about: HDB BTO application fee and payment to health promotion board. both being government merchant codes.

argh...in my final month spending of the quarter, i mis-tracked my spending and short of 1 transaction, thus losing the entire quarter rebate. Although i had more than $500 spending, i only have 4 qualifying transactions.

Have anyone face this problem and successfully appealed for the rebate before?

shld be able to appeal, especially if it's your first .. in the past, UOB asked me to spend additional in the following month to make up the shortfall

Yea I received the quarterly One Card rebate but not the Grab ones... I emailed them but they never reply in time, probably will call

I thought your Feb Rebate should be for quaterly statement( Nov, Dec, Jan).
Grab extra 5% started from 24 Jan.
Does your Jan statement include any Grab Transactions from 24 Jan?

Did you see the illustration in the UOB ONE Card website? It is written in black and white and very clear.

You will get the Grab additional 5% in the month following the end of the previous quarter (if you qualify). If your quarter is Nov-Dec-Jan 2019 and you have grab transactions in Jan 2019, you willl get the 5% additional rebate on GRAB in Feb 2019

Yeap it's black and white that's why I am annoyed that those are not credited. I guess first month of implementation they have not set it up properly

I verified on my statement the qualifying quarter is Nov-Jan and payout in February (following month). I have Grab transactions on Jan 26, 28, 31 and early Feb.
*Your qualifying period for quarterly rebates is (1) November to January

Another lame PR stunt from UOB without actual benefit

I’ve not been using this card for about a year. Is there anyway to track/ know my quarterly month in ib? Beside calling them to confirm.

When is your statement date? If you already gotten your quarterly rebate, your statement date should be before 14th, your transactions after that of course not yet counted for rebate. Will be counted only in the Feb-Apr statements and rebate credited in May.

My cut-off date is 11th of the month. But i had Grab transactions between January 24th and February 11th. I got a call back from UOB, they said it is not normal and will escalate.

Your transactions between jan 24th to feb 11th, fall in the Feb statement, which is the first statement month of the new quarter ie feb, mar, apr. Rebate will only come in earliest May.
