Just saw in the SP app that it accepts payments via all major credit & debit cards and get to enjoy up to 5% rebate with UOB One and Delight cards. Anyone confirmed this with UOB? Thanks

the takeaway is that the app now accepts credit cards from other banks (not just DBS/POSB as in the past).
5% and all that are just the standard features of UOB One card when you achieve minimum spending..

Wow nice. This will be so much more convenient than going to counter to pay bills so that it counts for rebate.

Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been asked before. I'm planning to use the One card for the monthly bill for my new electricity provider.

Does the monthly payment count towards the monthly minimum expenditure of $500 (and thus, the quarterly rebate and bank interest rate?).

Thank you so much in advance.

Yes. Counted to spending for quarterly rebate and bonus interest rate.

Hi I spend $2k for 3 months consecutively but only got 100. Called they say one spending does not count so got one month only $1997 valid. I submit appeal for $300 rebate.

Anyone got similar exp before and appeal success?

Should be ok if this is the first time you appeal for this reason.

Other than giving you the full $300, they may only consider it as 2 qualifying months out of 3 and give $200 rebate instead. This was my personal experience.

I think prorated rebates ( like 1/3 or 2/3) are only given for the first quarter when the card is approved.

In his case, he missed the $2k spend in one of the months. UOB will automatically downgrade that he satisfy $1k spend for all 3 months. That's why he was awarded $100 rebate

First time can appeal usually successfully. Moreover it’s just $3.

They may just ask him to spend $3 more in the next cycle.

Hopefully UOB is not stingy

My experience was not regarding newly issued card but invalid spending.

$3 is a small amount, he can try asking for the full $300 rebate.

Is it difficult to appeal for late charge and interest waiver now a days? Got a $20+ interest which uob refuses to waive.
