CSO should have told you.. I was trying to change mine and he warned me of this.

I just changed to statement date from 4th of the month to the end of month (i.e 31st) and it totally screwed up my qualifying quarter. So now my qualifying 1st month spend is from 5th Dec 2019 all the way to 31st Jan 2020. So those intending to change do note the potential impact.

Same here, my current statement month is extended from Dec to end Jan because I changed the statement date. What's the impact? Assuming I only want to meet the min spend of $500, do I have to spend 2x $500 to qualify for the rebates (to satisfy Dec and Jan), or would the statement balance of $500 suffice?

The $500 is for quarterly rebate? You already clocked the $500 spend for the statement generated in dec? So now just need to clock $500 spend for the jan statement (ie from after the dec statement till end jan)

Hi there experts,

Firstly happy new year, I have an issue with my quarterly rebates so I hope any uob staff or experts could help me.

I called on the 20 dec 2019 to check when is my first quarter. I was told it’s Jan. But now when I called again, I was told my first quarter is dec to Jan 2. The cso told me that the information given to me is correct because I will need to hit the 2000 spent by Jan 2 which is not what I expected. I was told they will investigate the recording but what are the chances for an appeal?

This is because if the 1st quarter starts on 20 dec the the information is given to me wrongly in a way and I did not spend a single cent on dec to Jan 2 and yet I have already spend 2000 after Jan 2 due to the information given. Does that mean I will have 0 rebates for the whole quarter?

Please help as I will be spending again soon on 2nd March.

With kind regards,
Acidblaze

You just activated your card on 20 Dec? Don't worry, the first rebate is prorated so you will get for the next two months (Jan and Feb) if you hit the required spending.

Thanks for the reply,

My card was activated in 2016 so the prorate will not apply on me.

Bro, you used the card since 2016... how come now then realise when's the qualifying quarter?

Can try to appeal but if fail, just skip this quarter bah, hope you didn't spend that much for Jan (depends which tier you were aiming)

One can always activate the card but end up not using at all

Seeking some old bird experience here:

My statement date is 31st, so if i do my grab top up on 31st evening - should be safe enough to fall into the following month’s billing right. Am trying to use the ipaymy promo code which expires on 31Jan, so thinking to top up $400 x 5 times on 31st itself. So far I’ve always spread out the top up over a few days, should be ok to wack all in one day? TIA

But transaction date and posting date may be different right?

Which date do they use for determining whether the transaction is for which month ah?
