wasn't there a discussion that after 1 Nov 2019, UOB excluded

6540 Stored Value Card Purchase/Load

Then One card will include Grab Topup for the additional 5% rebate but not the base?
Don't anyhow leh..please quote if you say it was confirmed. I just received my rebate leh $100 + $33.75.. either I spent on fuel or grabpay card only

YOLO is exempted. UOB still included.. also it's advertised on grab app...

Exclusion was for UOB YOLO. UOB One still getting rebates (X+5%) from Grab Top Up and counts as min spend for UOB One Credit Card.

anyway, folks, can explain how the grabpay mastercard works? understand it's a virtual card?

do I just apply via the grab app and then top up using UOB One to the wallet? how then do I use gpmc instead of just grab pay, since it's a virtual card? do all retailers accept?

I suggest go read the Grabpay card thread. All required info is there for all.

too much of repeated benefits all over usually speed up the death of a good thing, imho.

it's not that I don't understand... it's whether I want to do that (top up first) or not (top up to meet tier).

the idea of having another credit card is not as straightforward for minimalists like me. I've been reducing the number of cards and bank accounts I have, while still taking advantage of whatever perks there are (rebates, etc.).

being not a big spender, I don't wanna top up first and 'force' myself to spend later :s22: against my 'philosophy' of spending.

anyway, also read that the physical card takes a while to be delivered. so might have to bear with using the virtual card in the meantime. then also read some posts that some retailers don't really recognize it (or they prefer cash)? hence the hesitation...

but I think i'll try out this three months since it's a new quarter. not aiming for top tier (2k top up), more like try out with lowest top up (500) :D

Do you have uob one acc? If so you have to spend $500 anyway. So not spending more

Do you have samsung pay? If so can use physical payments right away

yup, I have uob one. it's not spending more, I understand. it's like transferring the spending from the one card to the gpmc.

no I don't have Samsung pay.

thanks for your help anyway, i'll try out by topping up grabpay with uob one and apply for the gpmc. hopefully it's well accepted (both online and at retailers).

Does anyone know what "UOB ONE CASH REBATE BILL REDEMPTION" is referring to? I received $1.20 at the start of Feb statement and my quarterly statement started from Nov.

Refer to the 0.3% rebate for your spending in nov to jan statement, when you did not meet the spending for the usual $50/$100/$300 quarterly rebate

I did meet the spending though on 2k grab each month and see the 300 credit to offset for next month in my account. Is this 0.3% on top of the 5%+5% rebate I will get?

Then should be 0.3% for the previous quarter(s) before nov-jan

can I check if you guys using the one card received a notification (SMS or email) on the change of T&Cs of the card, dated 30th Oct 2019.
The new T&Cs stated certain MCCs will be excluded with effect from 30th Nov. (i.e. MCC 6012, 6211, 6540, 7995, 8651)

https://www.uob.com.sg/assets/pdfs/one_card_full_tnc.pdf

I didn't receive anything and it was sneaky of them to do that, since rebates are based on 3 mths running and you won't know until u get quarter rebate or your following mth's UOB One account's statement...

There are many people who have posted here. And it should be reflected in the UOB statement about new TnC. Just that no one bother t read through the statement.

didn't check the posting here during that period so missed it.

checked the UOB card statements, Sep it highlights Credit Card Fees and Charges revision. Oct Business Reply Envelopes not avail. Nov highlight revision to CC rewards (UNI$). Dec highlights UOB Fees and charges revision.

thought UOB is required to inform users of the changes per ABS consumer banking code?

Any idea how to pay the bill for UOB One using DBS iBanking? UOB didn't give clear instructions on how to do it.

I think this is the yearly 0.3% rebate for uob one card. This is for the spending between jan to Dec 2019. To be paid in Feb 2020.

Not too sure, someone to confirm.
