if I buy apple products on shopee using this card, I can get 5% additional rebate (for monthly spent of 1k) up to $100?

Anyone got similar experience. I had an existing CC with UOB, so when I open my UOB One Credit Card in early June, it follow my previous CC statement date and end up only having -5days to hit the monthly minimum spend from receiving the card.

I called in and they told me the spending will be averaged over the 3 statements, double confirmed that it would be averaged and not pro-rated. The CS say because it’s not fair for me that the first statement only a few days as long as I also hit the Min spend tier in the subsequent statements will get the full quarterly rebate. At the same time changed statement date to follow calendar month.

After spending extra in the subsequent months to ensure above 1k/month on average for the 3 statements, UOB end up giving me pro-rated for 2 statements out of 3, so they didn’t honour what they told me during the call. When I wrote in, they said need to meet the tier in each statement and referenced the Tncs. I assume UOB has the hotline calls recorded but anyone had the case where it is actually averaged instead of pro-rated? Wondering if it will be a futile effort asking them to follow what they told me during the call.

It was never averaged over 3 quarters, and if you read the tnc it was exactly how their system is set up to pro rate for the first qustwer rewards. You can always try to call in and ask then to make an exception, but it's subject to their goodwill.

There is only one cycle date for all your cards, what most people do is to change to a date they prefer first before you start your UOB one journey. You can also control which quarter your reward cycle starts in by applying only in that month, if you wish to sync things up.

It’s definitely prorated, not averaged. The tnc was very clear on this and unfortunately, UOB CSOs are not very competent. I would definitely call in and appeal though, as they provided misinformation

Today, I logged into my UOB mobile app and noticed the money lock feature. Previously, I thought it required opening a separate bank account to lock funds, but it seems that's no longer necessary.

Will locking my money affect my UOB One bonus?

Was forced to update Singtel App today .... and when trying to pay my bill, kena re-direct to AXS for payment .... tested with $1 payment using UOB one card ...... the transaction is reflected as "AXS" .....

Think cannot use UOB one card to pay bills with Singtel App already to clock $500 min spend ....

the $50 quarterly cash rebate doesn't affect the $500 monthly minimum spend? for example no need $500 +$50 so no need to spend $550 for the month the cash rebate is credited in that quarter?
