mere $30, $80 or $150 is the same, as long as you hv spent your tier in the cashback month BUT you paid before they give u the cashback, they will holdback the cashback.

even for my case of supplementary card-only spending. they detect no principal card spending, they dont give u.
Makes no sense at all. What does the date that I pay have to do with anything? If you owe me $30 cash back, you jolly well use it to offset my next month's bill. What rubbish policy to hold the cashback because I paid first. Then are they encouraging people to pay late? :s8:

i prepared to do that after receiving their letterhead on telling me to do that (black n white as backup LOL).

but they credited to me before my statement date.. think i kpkb them too long over the phone... its not we gian peng the $150.. juz that credit card this kind of thing ltr they nv offset we die gao lat..

but since we learned thats the way their system works and have bros here reassurance.. shd be safe bah.

yea.. we took the effort to keep track and charge 1500 for 3 months... so we should be awarded accordingly for the effort for 150 dollars rebate .
hopefully no hidden rules pop up again when my next statement comes.

Actually, under clause 2.2 of the 'UOB ONE Credit Card Terms and Conditions',

"Quarterly Cash Rebates may only be used to settle Card Transactions incurred on a Principal Cardmember’s Card or his Supplementary Cardmember’s Card (if any), ..."

Strictly speaking, if there are no transactions to settle because everything has been paid, the Rebates should not appear.

And of course, every bank incorporates all that omni-potent clause, "The Bank’s decision in its sole and absolute discretion on all matters pertaining to the award or use of any or all of the benefits and privileges stated below shall be final and binding on a Cardmember." Such is the Bank's rubbish policy.

You can use imagine card for transport. If you top up >$50 to the imagine card amex purse using uob one and use the amex purse to EZ-reload $50 and use the imagine card to take mrt or buses. You get 3.33% from uob one, 5% rebate from amex purse (max $5 each month) and 2% (max $2 each month) for transport . total 10.33% rebate
