It takes some time to fill up form and for the GIRO to be set up.
He was talking about the jan 16 giro requirements - that's 6 weeks more to go.

It is heartening to receive an SMS from UOB:
"Your UOB One card cash rebate of S$ 150.00 has been credited on 19-Dec-2015. Continue to use your UOB One card for more savings."
It shows that the 'ONE card, one use' works.

If i utilize my SMART$ points to offset my purchase, is the initial amount or the discounted amount of my product taken into consideration for the amt spent on my UOB One card?
My statement dates are 13 Sep, 12 Oct, 12 Nov and 13 Dec. Come January, i would have a big transaction to be made on 13 Jan. Assuming settlement is done on the same day, i.e. post date is 13 Jan, that transaction will be considered in Jan or Feb statement?
Likely feb statement as statement would likely be generated on 12 janMy statement dates are 13 Sep, 12 Oct, 12 Nov and 13 Dec. Come January, i would have a big transaction to be made on 13 Jan. Hey guys,
Just wanna double check if i use this card to pay for my insurance premiums and road tax,do i get any rebates? And also, do they count towards the $2000?
Thanks!
yes, confirmed. i have been doing it for months. I guess SP Services Counter will get busier![]()

I know SP Services utility and Town Council conservancy can pay by cc by visiting their office, anyone know if IRAS property tax can pay by cc?![]()
would like to know about this workaround for property tax tooConservancy can also be charged automatically by recurring credit card payments btw.
IRAS property tax supposedly couldn't when i called iras to check but it seems from some postings here there may be a work around. Will leave it for the experts to clarify.
Hello guys, asking a question for my sister here. She's using her card to pay for school fees with installment but even though the 7k payment has been split into 6/12 months, the credit limit will take into accord the full amount instead of the monthly installment amount. (Aka if eg, credit limit is 10k, after charging the 7k school fees at 12months installment, credit limit for the coming 12 months will be left with 3k only.)
Since she will need to pay for next semester in a few months and her limit is not enough, does UOB accept prepayment to the card to topup the credit limit? I am aware of this being done before but not sure if applicable to installments since I don't know if this is considered as early repayment.
Anybody know? Thought I'd ask here to see if anyone encountered before, before she calls the bank.TIA!
