Everyone wants a piece of the robo pie lah. I think its good effort on UOB to comeup with this to compete with dbs digi portfolio and ocbc roboinvest.
If wanna compare with DIY in terms of returns of coz no fight lah. Have to compare apple to apple mah.

If UOB markets their simpleinvest with only the 0.8% sales charge to us with no monthly fee. I think its a deal breaker compared to those that need to pay a monthly fee.

UOB also has it own proper roboadvisory right, call UOBAM Invest? So are they canibalizing themselves? So, this simple invest is more similar to POSB Invest Saver rather than DIgiportfolio. The UOBAM Invest is similar to Digiportfolio.

I wish UOB had totally done away with the sales charge also and anyways they are using their own UOB funds right? So they get the fee there, So, the UOB Simple Invest should have been just a simple platform to channelize money into UOBAM funds.

I dont understand how will they be able to differentiate between their own 2 offerings.

Edit:Then there is UTrade Robo with UOBKayHian so totally 3 offerings o_O

Comparing dollardex and likes of endowus where dollardex does not charge platform fees and endowus does not charge trailer fees, which is the lesser evil?
You might as well just open an interactive brokers account and buy global ETFs yourself and ignore all these roboadvisors.

So is it good to invest in UOB? Or are there other better options? Been finding something to invest and hope to see result without high risk of losing everthing. Do recommend. Thanks

You want no frills with your existing platform, go for the either Dbs digiportfolio or uob simple invest.

Seperated platform but also no frills can go for robos. Endowus or Syfe both are ok.

If DIY then its go through brokers.

Any occupation restrictions ie working in a financial institution? If so better to check what brokers they allow if not open account already then need to close due to non compliance.

Thanks to revhappy I decided to take the plunge and use UOB SimplyInvest on the Liquidity portfolio at a simple $100 for a start. At Review and Confirm screen it sill reflect as United Class A2 Money Market fund but once you send the order it will reflect as Class U. Class U is the lower expense ratio. No sales charge.

Later I will try to redeem to see how fast it takes compared to fundsupermart and also to verify the percentage over a month.

After 5 days of trial assume unit trust price is linear increase for 20 days which is one month the "interest" I extrapolate is annualised 1.8+% hmmm maybe monitor over one month to have better picture.

Bonds yield also take weekends into account. So Friday to Monday should be bigger jump in price than Thursday to Friday, all other things being equal.

I thinks yields have been jumping recently, so I think you will have to wait for a full month to get a reasonable yield.

I put 80k in Endowus Amundi global aggregate bond index fund and in 2 days I am already down about 1% lol. But I am sure over a few months long term yields will fall and I will make a decent return.

I am not sure as only 5 days. But I cross check with fundsupermart it is indeed annualised to 1.8%. Will feedback again after one month. Afterall $100 as trial don't lose much anyway.

Just to update it seem weekend is also factored in so now after 12 days it is 2.568% annualised. Hope it can reach 4% after one month. 95% of the fund is in mas t-bill I guess should be achievable.

Anyone also looking at Fullerton SGD Cash Fund? Seem fsm and a few platform sell them. UOB simply invest is 0.8% OCBC 0.88%. Think moomoo and fsm no sales charge. Hmm

What UOB and OCBC actually charge for Fullerton SGD fund? I think Moomoo and Tiger are free.

I check UOB OCBC not selling this Fullerton Cash Fund. DBS sell but 0.82% sales charge and minimum 1000 initial. FSM sell 0% sales charge but got quarter platform fee.

Moomoo Tiger Poems are no sales charge. I decide on Poems since I already have existing unit trust with them. Their minimum invest is 1 dollar and so is subsequent invest. Good to do a trial with less than 100 even.

This fund risk rating is 0 under fsm classification but you read the factsheet they seem to be buying small banks and financial institution FD? They are not buying MAS T-bill so need to take note. I want to diversify since I already got UOB United Money Market Fund. LionGlobal Money Market is done by Syfe Cash+ for which I already invested.
