My company made TT to HK on 13th and till now HK side hasn't received the wire. I called up UOB and was told that the amount had been deducted and already processed on 13th..Asked them why taking so long, was simply told me to get beneficiary to contact their bank or pay for tracer ...wtf.. In fact I have already asked my HK counterpart to call their bank and they even sent me their account statement.. don't mind paying for tracer if the status come back as delivered. shouldn't the bank at least take responsibility if the fund is held along the way?
