This card is nothing to shout about. I only use it to accrue UNI$ x3 when I have spent enough on my cash-back cards.

Would keep it as long as it remains to be free though.

So kenna downgrade to Visa preferred ..and I have not noticed anything missing in my life..

my $1 still gets me $1 using Visa Preferred...hehe

Infinite is their top end card like black centurion is amex's top end card. Normally issued to huge spenders who spend so much that they qualify for fee waiver anyway.

If u dont need the extra privileges that it offers then why bother?

Depends on which version. The Privilege Visa Infinite for those with Privilege Banking. Nothing special about that card.

The Privilege Reserve VI for Privilege Reserve customers ($2M with UOB) is very nice. 4 UNI$/$5, (equivalent to 1.6 miles, highest for a Visa card) & 100,000 miles upon sign up.

I was told no annual fees. It's a one time sign up bonus anyway. If you have $2M sitting with them, I don't think they will heart pain the 100k miles.

my friend's pay is quite low but he also got the card free...maybe because of his privilege account.

This card is not given based on your salary. Privileged Banking Visa Infinite given to those with Privileged Banking ($350k in assets being managed by UOB) & Privileged Reserve Visa Infinite given to those with Privileged Reserve Banking ($2M in assets being managed by UOB).

Low income never mind. Just need a lot of money with UOB is enough.

It's not given, you still have to qualify for it even if you are a PB client.

I was told that if you don't hit the annual income requirement, you gotta pledge a minimum of 150K with them to qualify. And if you cannot qualify based on income and yet you are unwilling to pledge that amount, they would give you Visa Signature instead.

Of course, there could always be exceptional cases but the information given to me as of 3 months ago regarding this card is what I mentioned.

If you are a PB client and you got it simply because you are one and not due to any of what is required that I mentioned, feel free to correct me so that I can get back to my RM on that.

Sorry, what your RM said doesn't make sense.

When you are a PB client, you already have (at least) $350k in assets under management by UOB? Why would you need to pledge another $150k?

Heck, if you are a PBR client, I seriously doubt the bank is going to worry about your annual income, when they can see your portfolio of $2M...

To be honest, I don't have UOB PB. I did used to have SCB PB, and I was given the SCB PB Visa Infinite card free. There was no discussion of minimum income, etc.
