UOL bought the Hilton Melbourne Hotel last night. It will be rebranded as the Pan Pacific Melbourne. This acquisition would increase their hotel assets in Melbourne to two, they have one near the airport.

I'm puzzled why UOL is disinterested in the very fashionable asset light strategy pursued by other developers. Otherwise we would have UOL commercial trust, UOL retail trust & UOL hospitality Trust joining the reit community. Maybe some learned soul can help shed some light on this

World class global IPO, a new developer with no track record, is selling at >2xP/B. UOL, a solid blue chip with almost 50 years of history, with solid retail, office, hospitality assets & residential projects which are selling very well, trading at only 0.75P/B, yet it don't garner much interest. Where is the justice.....

You're an old bird, I don't want to embarrass myself trying to teach you how to suck eggs. My definition of low hanging mangoes, stock is undervalued with good earning visibility, there is a high probability you can make some easy money if you make a purchase. This is my simpleton view, buy at your own risk...
