Does anyone have feedback on these 2 courses?
Bachelor of Computer Science (Game and Mobile Development Major)
https://www.simge.edu.sg/programme/bachelor-of-computer-science-game-and-mobile-development/

Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science, Full-time
https://www.simge.edu.sg/programme/bachelor-of-science-honours-in-computer-science/

Both takes the exact same duration to graduate.
Wollongong: Has accreditation and a decent ranking in QS World (198)
London: No accreditation and ranking is unknown, plus the course is developed by goldsmith university which are mainly recognized for their arts, social science, business courses. I am unable to find any recognition for their computer science courses.
However, the Degree offered is an Honours.

Would an Honours Degree from University of London be recommended over a non Honours Degree from Wollongong even though the non Honours has accreditation and a better ranking?

Trust me, go for UOW. UOL comp science degree exams are in written form... that means u do coding on paper..

Doesnt seem practical and it's better if u did under UOW, practical assignments and group projects + exams.

Take ranking with a pinch of salt.

Is the written form exams still happening in the current UOL comp science course? Because from researching it seems like the course is a new one just offered last year, but of cause I am just reading and asking around so it might not be accurate information.
So it is more recommended to go for Wollongong/Aus even though that one does not come with Honours?

Basically I wanna try pursue a Masters in NUS or some University in the U.S, do you guys think it is achievable with the non honors Wollongong Degree? **I should be working for about 1-2 years after graduation before attempting to pursue a Master though.

Does any or both Australian and U.K Degrees get treated as 4 year U.S Degree equivalent?

I do know that UOW has accreditation with ACS while the UOL one does not have any sort of accreditation.

Comp science was already offered when i joined SIM during 2018. I met a couple of people who were in comp science in 2019 while working part time and they told me that their exams are similar to EMFSS where they take unseen written exams at expo every May. That means to say for certain coding units, they have to do it on paper without being able to check for errors.

UOL style is similar to that of A levels, 1 exam to determine your fate. Of course, there are exceptions where certain computer units like intro to information system have courseworks that needs to be submitted and will be counted into your final grades before you sit for the final exams in May.

It's better if you check directly on the UOW thread to find out more, but I'm pretty certain the experience u get in UOW is more rewarding than UOL.

AU/UK degrees aren't equivalent to a 4-year degree without honors.

Pick a few masters program and check their admissions requirement. E.g. https://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/programmes/pg/mcs/admissions/ states

A good honours degree in computing; or
A good honours degree in a related discipline with 2 years IT industry experience; or
A good bachelor's degree in computing with 2 years IT industry experience; or
A good bachelor's or honours degree in business related discipline with 2 years IT industry experience.
So you may be considered if you have a good bachelor's degree in computing with 2 years IT industry experience.

For US big names like UIUC, Gatech's OMSCS, Texas Austin, etc... they would all require a 4-year university without exception. So if you took a 3-year and want to get into any of those, you'll be forced to take a postgraduate diploma or some top-up degree just to meet that admission requirement.

So if you're certain you want to do masters, it would seem that it's best to do a 4-year degree now and not have to worry about that requirement a few years down the road.

Don't forget, if you take 3-years to do the degree, maybe 2 if you get some exemptions based on your diploma (if any), then work for another 2 years, that's 5 years. 5 years later you decide you want to do your masters but can't get in then you'll spend another year or 1.5 years to get your postgrad dip or top-up degree, and have to match the graduation with the application date of the masters program, which may waste a full 2 years.
