If you study one of the UOL EMFSS degree and get a very low degree classification, what are your options?

- Can you sign up for a different degree and carry over all exams you already sat for ?

- Can it be "overlooked" if I get a different qualification on top of it ?

I had huge problems during my academic life and staying in this loop is just :(

u cant 'carry over' stuff you've taken from your first degree into a second, but u can sign up for LSE's other degree programs as a graduate entry (some only, not all offer this option). they give you 4 modules exemption iirc. that means you only need 9 mods to graduate.

alternatively, you'd have to look at other countries Unis to see if they would accept u as a second degree student, exemptions etc.

your 1st degree's results/grades won't affect your 2nd degrees results/grades.

You may still get a poor degree classification in another new major (Eg: Accounting and Finance - AF) if you use it to top up from your old UOL degree (Eg: Business and Management - BM) cause your AF degree are also using your BM degree with poor result modules.

It really depend on each university if they want recognized your modules for exemption. A thumb of rule will be at least a A or B.

If you are using UOL BSc (BM) to study Bsc (AF) in XYZ university , I will support you cause it is a new major. If you are using UOL BSc (BM) to study BSc (BM) in XYZ university , I will not support you cause it is a waste of time and money. Although having a better degree classification stand a higher chance of getting employment but end day you have a private degree and cannot compare with local degree. So what the different between UOL BSc (3rd class Hons) in BM vs XYZ BSc (2nd upper/lower class Hons) in BM?

If you have a higher qualification like MBA, they will never "overlooked" that you are not academic smart. The only different is in CV where MBA do not have any degree classification while it is safe to assume UOL graduate is not academic smart if he did not included his degree classification. End day we will know it once you included your UOL degree.

I agree with Kyoji, since you already finished you degree and started working, why not just focusing on getting work experience? Usually grades are the determining factor for fresh grads when they do not have any work experience( That's what i believe uh, correct me if i'm wrong).

Aside from that, why not focus on technical skills that you lack of?
For example, if you're doing accounting and finance, since UOL does not have any transferable skill, why not use the skillsfuture credits of $400 or $500 to go for ICDL Microsoft excel vba certification?

Weighing the cost benefits for you, i really won't recommend you to go back and waste another 2-3 years to do another degree. The opportunity cost is higher than if you spent more time in the work force gaining work experience.
