Whatever products you see now are already using 7nm and may likely be the last of 7nm. The next gen CPU and GPU may be utilizing 5nm or something more advance than 7nm.

Looks like we will be in 7nm for awhile
You should wait for Intel 10nm.
Currently Tiger lake (mobile) is 10nm.
The upcoming rocket lake (desktop) will be 14nm.
I guess the next gen desktop will be on 10nm, which probably be at least 18 months away.

Can TSMC cope with 5nm for Nvidia and 7nm for AMD at the same time? If not, will be same as 3080.
Next year will be the start of a new upgrade cycle with DDR5. So just in time for the 5nm RTX.
