Hi there

Just want to check, recently got a new GPU MSI 1070 TI

is it compatible with my current mobo ASRock Z77 Pro3?
and PSU is 550W
Processor is I5

And do i have to upgrade my mobo and PSU?
is my current Mobo bottleneck?

Thanks

550W is within spec (official spec from NVIDIA call for min 500W for 1070 Ti)

However, i assume ur PSU is from the rig's original build so its around 4 to 5 years old. Might be good idea to considering hooting a replacement 600 to 650W 80+ Bronze PSU at least to replace it for peace of mind (PSUs do wear and tear)

Old-school i5 will run into issues in games like Monster Hunter World etc because the 4 threads will get jammed up and bottlenecked due to it having to handle all the things on the map. This will especially be the case if ur i5 is the lower-spec 3rd gen one like i5-3470 etc with the lower clock speeds
