Normally do you all use the card marker drivers or amd/nvidia drivers?

e.g. search from nvidia or zotac for my 1070 in my case.

any difference?

Normally all GPU of the same model different brands all use the same nvidia drivers. There isn't any difference between which brands driver they using.

PS: same model as in GTX 1060/1070/1080 that kind.

All are released by nvidia...the card makers just make it available on their sites as a form of customer support. You can go download from zotac/msi/palit and nvidia, and compare yourself.

I just DLed this from zotac:

Always use nVidia/AMD/Intel's drivers (except for laptops where drivers may be customised for power-saving/hotkeys/switchable graphics).

If you really want to be thorough you can download the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) program from Guru3d. Use this to remove the old drivers before installing the new ones so you get a completely fresh install.

If you want to simply just update your graphic driver, you do not need to do double work of using another software (DDU). Just simply install the new drivers. They are smart enough now.

Use DDU only when you cross over between diff company driver like AMD-nVidia/nVidia-AMD.
