Updating Graphic Card driver issues

Hi all

Im currently using a Sapphire HD 7850 OC 2GB graphic card and was just checking for driver updates, since i usually go for autodetect and install, somehow ATI's autodetect program detected my graphic card as Radeon R7 2xx series.

do i actually still go ahead or just assume that the old 7850 isnt hafing new updates already?

It's ok to just go ahead with it. Cause it's the new r series are basically just rebadges, so they are the same

7850 = R7 265.
They just OC it to make it run a bit faster.
