Updating Redmi Note 3

Am using Redmi Note 3 with the following:
Android version 5.0.2.LRX22G
MIUI VERSION: 7.0|STABLE 7.0.19.0.0(LHNCNCJ)

Is it worth the trouble to update the ROM and MIUI to a newer version? Appreciate any advice before venturing to figure out how to do the updates if want to update. TIA.

New miui is using 6.0.

Worth it. As to how to update. Check the redmi note 3 thread or go their miui forum. Quite informative.
