Upgrade advice for 2013 rig

Looking at Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H + i7 4970k
not sure my ram/cooler etc still compatabile or not

i has been using photoshop alot more these day and recently upgraded to ps cc 2014 the performance of my comp seem to drop when rendering large images , thinking to change to the latest cpu and next mth then upgrade to 16gb ram

for photoshop.. i7 + nvidia works much better..
uses 8core + the nvidia tech.....

go for NVIDIA Quadro K600 graphics for drawings cost ~$200+
