I am using
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 8400
MOBO: Asus P5Q Turbo
RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR2 1066 6GB
HDD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 2.5" SATA II 250GB
GPU: ASUS GTX 780
PSU: CX Series CX650M-650 Watt 80 PLUS Bronze
This computer was build for gaming 10 years ago. I am playing 80% in RPG and 20% in RTS. I noticed I cannot set Ultra in The Rise of Tomb Raider, Assassin Creed: Origin is in my wishlist as well. So i decided to upgrade MOBO, CPU, and RAM (same brand as what I using). Budget <S$1,000. I don't overclock computer. I only focus on the default performance.
To all expert, any recommendation?

For a budget of 1k
You ought to be able to get a GTX 1060 3gb, which is the most bang for buck graphic card at the moment.
8gb ram is sufficient for now. You may wish to consider waiting for ram prices to drop before you add more ram.
Add an I5 / I7 CPU and reuse your existing SSD / PSU / casing to save costs

Thanks for reply. I plan to reuse my 780GTX. Any good combination for ASUS MOBO, Kingston RAM, and Intel CPU for gaming within $1k?
