Upgrade for old rig

Psu and gpu just fried in my i5 2400 rig ... should be the specs on the right.
I changed the psu and is working fine with onboard graphics.
Can recommend which gpu suitable? 1050ti?
Previous gpu is r9 270x, play some bf4 on medium settings on full hd

go for 1060. the 1050ti is not worth the money imo.

skip to the 3/4 to see the results. interesting to note that the minimum fps for i5 6500 is 60+ compared to your 2400 which is 40ish.

Time to get new rig but if you insist, I prefer up gpu and let Cpu bottleneck. Then next time change rig can reuse gpu rather than getting a mediocre 1050ti and make me ponder to change gpu again when I change rig.

You can sell the i5-2400 and buy an i7-2600 on Marketplace. A cheap CPU upgrade until you are ready to get a new rig.
