Hi,

My current system that i just DIY with a friend at SLS last June. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU to a GTX970 and hope you guys can help me take a look if my other parts will be able to handle it. Especially my PSU, I don't know if 600W is enough.

CPU: Intel i7-3770K
MB: MSI Z77A-G43
Ram: G.Skill 8GB
Current GPU: MSI GTX750 TF 1GB
PSU: XIGMATEK 600W Bronze

Upgrading because I want to be able to play dragon age inquisition at ultra settings. Plus other current gen games i bought from steam and origin.

Thank you in advance.:)

Oh, you will be fine with the GTX 970 then. You PSU is more than enough to power up your system with a GTX 970 in it.

is there a reason you're choosing those 2 brands over others? :)

I feel safer with MSI although priced higher than the rest. I read that for 970, going with these 2 won't go wrong.

It's a matter of perspective. Won't make much of a difference what brands you choose while gaming other than the location of the rma center if anything goes wrong. Nearer, the better. :)
