Upgrade GPU?

Its been a long time seen i last build my pc.
Trying to upgrade my graphic card as it seems like its going down.

Was hoping to make use of the black friday deals.

Any recommendation? Just normal gaming(Pubg, dota 2 etc) and normal usage (excel, watching movie etc).

Budget best below 500.

look at GTX 1060 from Nvidia or RX 580 from AMD...
