Upgrade Laptop's wireless card?

My laptop comes with only 3 USB ports.
1 used for wireless mouse, the other used for 3G dongle when I'm on the move. This makes me left with 1 pathetic port for whatever comes.

Can I upgrade the wireless card to support wireless AC instead of using a USB adaptor which will eat up my last remaining USB port available?

If yes, where can I shop for these cards?
