Upgrade network card!!!

Upgrade network card
hi to all

recently just sign up singtel 1gbps plan and get the linksys router ea9200.
i have Asus ROG G75JZ laptop which using Killer wireless n-1202 network card.

planning to change my network card to Wireless-AC which my router support the AC band. which network card recommended?? or i can still stick with my old 1??

Just a get a USB wireless AC will be better.
Check out those from Asus which are quite good.

You can stick with your old one if you are not expecting to reach the full speed which you are promised (1 gbps). 802.11ac is backward compatible with 802.11n and will slow down accordingly to work with your old network card.

Anyway, I do not know if your ISP can really deliver 1 gbps consistently all the time or not.

If you are not gaming or doing huge downloads all the time, I guess 802.11n is already sufficient for web browsing and Youtube streaming.
