Been a while...been a while..due to work and drifting in and out of the country.
With a new viewqwest 2gb fibre plan in place and working and a currently unutilised ViewQwest TV, now I gotta look at upgrade options. Looking to seek more opinions/advice/recommedations from more up to date friends here.

graphics:
should I get a gtx 970? is it worth the upgrade from my 670 if I sell my 670?
how much can i sell my 670? I hardly have time to game properly now but I do FM pretty much every other day. I know there may be no need for this upgrade but still itching for it lol.
CAN my current 670 support 3840x2160 4K? me thinks its DVI Max 2560x1600?

psu: is current psu good to go for gtx 970 or 980 or i need at least a new 750w?

hdd:
current ssd abit low in space but still ok i guess, dont need a new 500gb.
secondary storage need extra space as my wd black is running out of space. intend to have another internal hdd, at least 2tb to max 4tb. one piece.
Is wb black still as reliable now or should I just go for wb blue 7200 or a hitachi 5yrs?

Ram: adding another pair of Samsung MV-3V4G3D to make it 16gb. probably not gonna oc it despite my current pair being able to do 2133.

Moniter:
Is Samsung U28D590 @$579 worth every penny (if i stick to moniter)
Is Philips 42" Full HD LED TV Black 42PFA4609 @$455 a better option from my current dell moniter (if I go tv/moniter mode)

casing:
any nice new casing to recommend?

If ur GTX 670 has a DP port connection, it can do 3840x2160 at 60Hz. Tried and tested with my Gigabyte GTX 670.

Not on monitor, as long as u connect via DP. For TV, since output is HDMI v1.4, u may end up with only 4k@30Hz on ur TV.

For an instance, the graphics card will be one of them.

a 970 is gonna cost me 500++ max which is cheaper than my 670 when i got it initially...
a hitachi enterprise 4tb or wb black is at most just above 300+
8gb ram about 70
monitor/tv upgrade about 600-1000
thats about it?
if new casing or psu at most another 400-600
not cheap lol more of a pinch than a bomb?

still yet to figure out how i can maximise the viewqwest tv box. do u know if i can use it on a 4k monitor or gotta be a tv.
i assume @30hz if i go for a 4k tv monitor i am gonna get lag and spikes etc?

Check out my specs.

I was previously using a Leaktek 8800 GTX, upgraded to a basic MSI GTX 970 Armor around $480, couldn't be happier to game at 1920x1080, no change in PSU. I'm running 5 HDD ranging from 640GB to 3TB so power should be fine.

Recently changed from an Antec 300 (similar to yours) to a Define R5 Blackout Window Edition, great case @ $157 via Lazada including $5 delivery.

Monitor upgrade is up to you. Don't blow your budget. Cheers. :D

Define R5 Blackout Window Edition damn sleek and simple beauty...tempting indeed
seems decent for a 970 around 500sg but wonder how much i can get for my asus 670
