I was thinking of upgrading my video card. Previously downgraded to a gtx 1050ti as I wasn’t gaming anymore. Is the gtx 1660ti or the rtx 2060 a better option. I’m using an i5-7500 with 16gb of ram. Will want to upgrade to an 1440p monitor as well.

Both are at 1070 performance. So, really up to your budget.

If you not gaming, do not change your card. You won't see a difference if you upgrade even if you go 4k.

Agree. No point upgrading if you are not going to play games. A GTX 1050Ti should still handily manage 1080p with say medium settings.

Thanks all for the help, will consider before making a decision. Will only upgrade if I’m changing my monitor.
