Upgrade or Not

I have an old Sony Viao which has intel i3.

Works fine but battery won't charge up. Not sure whether to just buy new battery or replace the laptop which is about 4 years old but working fine

Any thoughts?

if working fine... get a new battery but i3 is kinda of slow...
