Upgrade or Sell?

I'm looking to play Apex Legend at 1080p@144hz. This is my second desktop.

My current pc specs are:

MOBO + CPU: i5 4460 + MSI H97 Gaming 3
GPU: MSI GTX 970 Armor Edition
RAM: Avexir 2x4GB 1600mhz
Storage: WD blue 1 TB + Crucial MX100 256GB
PSU: Superflower 600W 80+ Gold
Case: NZXT H440
Fans: 3x Corsair AF140 + 3x NZXT Stock Fans
Led: Custom LED strip included, with remote.

I have a few options in mind, but i don't know which is the most ideal/valuable way.

1. Sell these at a set? Someone offered me $350(Worth?), if sell, I'll build a brand new PC, with a totally different form, most probably mITX build, as there's some space constraint!

2. Just upgrade the GPU, continue using the PC.

i would say mb+cpu+ram+gpu can at least get 200-300 since it is equivalent to a budget gaming

Should i insist on mITX? or maybe can go for mATX, could be slightly cheaper.

Hows the build so far?
I have another build with 3440x1440 monitor, so most probably gonna swap it when i get the 2080. So won't over kill
