sadly there isn't anyway to check for components life expectancy. only through tools testing to determine if the product still good enough or not.

an overhaul of everything? can the current stuff be sold for some cash or would no one want it and it's better to throw it away?

just build a skylake pc den. :s11: (like how u build your i5 750)

yes all these still can reuse. and upgrade your win 7 to 10 and link to your email account b4 moving. to skylake.

for old game like this 1060 build should be good enough. total budget 1k should be enough since no inclusive of hdd and ssd.

Youtube is your best teacher if you need to know how to build a rig.
