Upgrade to Ryzen 2 Build

Would like to hear your thoughts on the upgrade build, just for gaming alone, do not plan to OC.

New Parts:
CPU/Mobo - 2600X + Asus B350I Gaming ITX ($538)
Storage - Samsung 970 Evo 1TB M2. ($599)
Ram - Corsair Vengance 3466 MHZ CL 16 ($339)
Total: $1476

Existing Parts:
GFX: GTX 1070
Casing: FT-03 Mini

1. For the Mobo, I have been using Asus for a while. Would Asrock or MSI be a good ITX alternative? No news on the B450 boards so am giving up.

2. For Ram, hear that Samsung B-die is better for Ryzen hence the choice. Any thoughts on alternative Ram?

3. For the price, any thoughts to optimise the parts. If I bring it down to SLS, can I get the parts and ask the shop to help install/upgrade?

1. Would said that if either brands board does offer something similar or better than Asus at lower price it's total alright to go with either brands.

2. Well if u intend to OC the ram den u definitely have to Google it up on the brands and model using such die.

3.whats your budget for these upgrades? I think I can look up for PCThemes or Infinity for moving of parts.

1. Given that the price difference is not much, guess i will go for the Asus board since there doesnt seem to be any red flags on it.

2. I heard that just to hit the 3200mhz, you need a B-die. Is this something that has been solved? I don't plan to OC.

If u are running only two sticks, should be fine, else might need to downclock to 2933mhz. B die is known to have the least issue with ryzen but it cost a premium. If u are running 4 sticks of ram like me then its more stressful for the imc, u might be still able to run 3200 but with a loose timing compared to b die on ryzen 2 which is supposed to have lesser ram compatibility issue compared to ryzen 1

#2. Not necessary. Can be Hynix A die or Samsung B die. Both can do 3200mhz if you buy the correct rams. Remember DDR4 default is 2133mhz. You have to set profile to overclock it to the rated speed. Else you will stuck at 2133mhz. No matter what you need to overclock.
