Upgrading Advise

Hi all,

Would it be advisable to upgrade my cpu and mobo to i5 4670k or i7 4770k now or wait for new release ? i use my rig mostly for gaming and some office stuffs. Does the current gen cpu give alot of performance boost over the 2500k ? my current cpu is oc to 4.5 ghz.

Things i have bought,
1 - 16gb ram
2 - Gigabyte gtx 780 ti windforce
3 - corsair h100i cooler
4 - corsair carbite 540 air case

Things im considering to upgrade,
1 - 256GB SSD
2 - i5 4670k or i7 4770k
3 - Asus vi formula or Gigabyte G1 Sniper Z87

you don't need to upgrade your cpu and motherboard. There won't be much performance boost in terms of gaming if you were to upgrade your cpu.

However if you insist, just go for an i5 4670k. Motherboard wise I would suggest a lower end one since you're not going extreme overclocking or the likes so not much difference between the different boards (unless you need the extra sata ports etc then go ahead and select one that suits your need).
