Upgrading current rig

Hi all, this is my current built.

AMD RyzenTM 3 3200G
Gigabyte B450M DS3H (AMD® B450 Chipset)
Klevv Bolt X 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 CL16
Lexar® NM610 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD 256GB
FSP HD420 80+ Bulk Pack — 420 Watt 80 PLUS® Certified ATX PSU

Wanna upgrade to a 1060 and 1TB NVME SSD. Is that okay?
Not a hardcore gamer, just a light one like SFV and Football Manager.

Any advice?

The PSU barely made the power requirements for GTX 1060 so the GTX 1060 + 1 TB NVMe should be OK.

This GPU is already 3 generations old so unless you are picking one up dirt cheap, you might want to consider the lower end AMD RX 6600/6650/XT cards instead. You just missed the Black Friday weekend sale. Could have picked up one of these cards for less than S$300.

Hmm good points but the cards don't have local warranty?

The current PSW that I have does not have enough power for the upgraded rig?
1060 is not good enough for my workflows?

as koenig mentioned, it is just barely enough. if u do follow through on getting a dedicated gpu, i would suggest u switch u psu out at the same time too to a higher wattage one.

have u played the games u listed with ur current rig and found the performance acceptable? if so, then i see no reason to upgrade. as koenig mentioned, the 1060 is already 6 (!) years old and been through 2 mining booms so 1) u wont be able to find any brand new for a reasonable price and 2) even if u get used, chances are its going to give up the ghost sooner rather than later.

even gtx1660 super is better option. but why go low when you can get Brand New AMD rx6650 at ard 350 that performs similar to gtx 1080ti. You need to upgrade your PSU as well.

Yes the games actually playing fine for me right now.
I just want to get a low end graphics card for my built. Does the extra graphics card have 1 more hdmi slot? As I have 2 monitor to connect to.

Quite of tight as brand new GTX1650 cost around $250 - $300.
The reset of the budget for a better SSD like Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB ($99) will fit your budget.
Try to ask around shops for GTX1650, I won't recommend GTX1060 6GB as it is a very old card
despite it's performance is better than GTX1650.

Take note when you change SSD recommend do a clean install of Windows, if you don't
want such hassle than just buy a hard disk to store your games etc.

300+ can get a rx6600 i would not think to go for gtx 1660 unless its like under 200
