Upgrading desktop parts

Hi,

Need help a little, been out of touch on PC building for a long time.

Thinking of upgrading my CPU/MB/RAM/GPU on a low budget, occasionally gaming, hope to last another 4-5 years. (no plans to OC or buy extra cooler here and there, using all at stock)

- GPU, 1060 6GB or 1050Ti 4GB ?
- For CPU, plan to use i8100 or i8400 + 16gb RAM. Reading though RAM stuff, got a bit confused, does RAM speed matters in terms of perf/bottleneck in this set up ? Is 2133mhz ok ?

What would be the best cost/perf combo and where would be best to get these parts ?

1060 6GB or 1050Ti 4GB also determine on what games you are playing
GPU just source 2nd hand, whichever the cheapest
Ram 2133mhz is ok, since you are not going to overclock, it will not bottleneck your setup

You can consider Ryzen 2400g with integrated Vega GPU, about S$230 + $150 for MB (both local) and another $150 to $200 for 2X8GB DDR4-3000 (from Newegg).

Speed does matter, especially for Ryzen. The lowest speed RAM you should consider is DDR4-2666.
