Upgrading GPU

Hi guys, need recommendation to upgrade my 560ti.
Mainly use for gaiming, watching movie.
Budget below 500
Prefer Nvidia series xD

thx for the reply! I have 760 in mind too! would like to go for 770 but the price at 5xx ..

and also, i noticed some of them have like 2gb,3gb even 4gb of ram.. is it the more the better? or do i even need higher than 2gb

The more ram not necessarily better. The more ram you have the the better performance with larger resolution. If you game at 1080 2gb is more than enough. If you game @ 4k resolutions, you need minimum 3gb ram.
Ram doesn't mean speed up for lower resolutions... the more ram you have and the lower the resolution, your performance will drop.

With that budget just get the r9 280x. Be it from Giga or from MSI.

Both also can.

And its performance matches the 770 and yet cheaper at $435-$450

Listen to Roy!!! He recommended to me so I went to check benchmarking results. the 280x outperforms the 770 by a good margin even though it's cheaper. If you want absolute budget, I think the gigabyte is going for 435.

sounds good! will take into consideration!
btw, i heard the load temp is kinda high like 90degree.. for 290x, not sure about 280x tho.. need more research!

You won't go wrong with 280x.... i am getting one too... waiting for my CFO to agree lol.
