Upgrading my ram

I have been using my 8gb ram set for the past 3 years and would like to upgrade to 16gb.

My current ram model is CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B.

Should I get a new 16gb kit or add on another 2 x 4gb dimms? Must the 4gb dimms be of the exact same model? Cause I know ram can be very picky..

I will wish to maintain good system stability to continue support of my CPU OCs.

may i know whats the reason for upgrading to 16GB? if purely for gaming, 8gb is more than sufficient. for RAMs, it would be best to get them all at the same batch production. try not to use different batch of ram. it may cause instability in system and get blue screen.
